34 Weeks Pregnant
Development at 34 Weeks
During week 34, lung development is near complete in most cases. Many babies are in a head-down position around this time. The fetus is roughly the size of a cantaloupe. The vernix covering the skin is thickening. Sleep takes up most of the baby's time. Fat continues to accumulate, giving the baby a more rounded appearance.
