30 Weeks Pregnant
Development at 30 Weeks
By week 30, the bone marrow is taking over red blood cell production from the liver and spleen. Lanugo — the fine downy hair that covered the body — is beginning to shed. The fetus is roughly the size of a large cabbage. The baby's eyes can distinguish light from dark. Fat continues to accumulate under the skin.

Common Experiences at 30 Weeks
Many people find the third trimester brings increased physical demands around week 30. Fatigue is very common. The belly is large and growing. Some people experience more frequent urination as the uterus presses on the bladder. Many people begin finalizing practical preparations around this time, following their provider's guidance.
Experiences vary widely between individuals. If you have concerns about any symptom, contact your healthcare provider.
